Android App Development

Outware is excited about the Android platform.

We are actively involved in building Android applications from the highly technical to the extremely beautiful.

Whether you’re creating an Android app from scratch or looking to create an Android version of your iPhone app, Outware have the design and technical experience to make your  project a reality.

Multi-Platform Issues

Apps for Android are written in a different language than apps on the iPhone. Android also has a different user interface experience. This means that native apps for each of these platforms are not compatible.

When considering a mobile app development over multiple platforms such as iOS and Android, it is tempting to cut costs by taking a multi-platform approach such as an app that merely wraps a mobile web site or is built using cross platform development tools. Our experience shows that this approach almost always ends up with a mediocre product. A multi-platform approach by necessity cannot take advantage of native user interface conventions. This results in a non-intuitive app that is often also sluggish to use.

Outware strongly recommends building custom apps that are native to each platform.
