Margaret Fulton Launch in the Sydney Apple Store

We were lucky enough to be invited to help Margaret Fulton launch her first app in the Sydney Apple Store yesterday.

The event was lots of fun, and we were all lucky enough to taste some of Margaret’s world famous shortbread.

Snap Send Solve Featured on LG WebNetwork

The Local Government Web Network in NSW has posted a nice article about Snap Send Solve.

The stumbling block for other Fix My Street style apps is the difficulty in negotiating councils’ varied back end systems for reporting and managing issues. So, rather than worrying about that, Outware Mobile decided to stick to email, and take advantage of councils’ obligation to respond to written communications.

Garry Barker featured Snap Send Solve in yesterday’s Green Guide and says:

It’s iPhone to the rescue, this time with a free app called Snap Send Solve. The idea is wonderfully simple. Spotting something that needs reporting, you open the app, tap the button that says ‘take photo’, add a note with some details of the problem and hit the send button.
